IT Technician – Healthcare

DR Nasma Salah Medical Centre in Al Garhoud- Dubai is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all technological systems, and providing excellent technical support to our medical and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

– Technical Support:

– Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network

issues.

– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, printers, and other IT

equipment.

– System Maintenance:

– Perform routine maintenance and updates on servers, workstations, and medical

equipment.

– Ensure that all systems are running efficiently and securely.

– Network Administration:

– Assist in the management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and

firewalls.

– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

– Hardware and Software Installation:

– Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as required.

– Ensure that all software applications are up to date and functioning correctly.

– Data Security and Compliance:

– Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive patient information.

– Ensure compliance with regulations and other relevant data protection standards.

Qualifications:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related

field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT

Professional) are advantageous.

– Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably

within a healthcare or medical setting.

– Skills:

– Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.

– Proficiency in network management and troubleshooting.

– Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and compliance requirements is a plus.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
