Full job description
We are looking for a caring, patient, and responsible house maid who can provide special care and supervision to a child with special needs, while also assisting with light household duties. The candidate must be compassionate, attentive, and committed to the child’s safety, comfort, and development.
Key ResponsibilitiesChild Care (Primary Responsibility)
- Provide full-time care and supervision for the special care child
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Follow the child’s therapy, exercise, or learning routines as instructed by parents or therapists
- Engage the child in safe, age-appropriate, and development-friendly activities
- Monitor the child’s health, behavior, and emotional well-being
- Administer medicines if instructed (only as per parental guidance)
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and positive environment for the child
- Ensure the child’s safety at all times
Household Support (Secondary Responsibility)
- Keep the child’s room, toys, and belongings clean and organized
- Prepare simple meals/snacks for the child if required
- Assist with light household cleaning related to the child
- Wash and organize the child’s clothes and bedding
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience caring for children, preferably special care children
- High level of patience, kindness, and emotional maturity
- Ability to understand and follow instructions carefully
- Basic knowledge of child hygiene and safety
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the child’s specific needs
- Physically fit and mentally alert
- Honest, reliable, and respectful
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, or physical disabilities (preferred but not mandatory)
- First aid or basic caregiving training is an advantage
